Ingredients:
Makes 10 - 1 cup servings
- 1 1/2 lbs. beef sirloin (cut into 1/2 inch dices)
- 2 tsp. vegetable oil
- 2 - 14 oz. cans beef broth
- 2 - 15 oz. cans black beans
- 1 - 14oz. can diced tomotoes and green chiles
(For milder version, substitute diced tomotoes)
- 3 Tbsp. 100th Anniversary Chili Seasoning
Heat oil over medium - high heat in a dutch oven or heavy pot; add diced sirloin and brown on all sides. Add remaining ingredients and bring to a boil, stirring often. Reduce heat to low and cover. Simmer gently for 1 1/2 hours or until steak is very tender, stirring occassionally.
This can be made in a Slow Cooker by browning sirloin and adding ingredients to the cooker. Cover and cook on low for 6 - 8 hours or on high for 3 - 4 hours.
